About the Learnership
The Truworths Stores Learnership Program offers individuals the opportunity to gain hands-on retail experience while developing valuable workplace skills.
Self-Help & Motivational
Successful candidates will receive cross-training to work both on the sales floor and at the service desk within a retail store. The program focuses on customer service, stock management, and point-of-sale operations.
To succeed in this role, you must be dedicated to learning, completing logbooks, preparing for assessments, and achieving competency as a cross-trained sales consultant.
What Will Be Expected of You?
Participants in the program will:
- Work a minimum of 120 hours
- Actively learn and build product and retail knowledge
- Prepare for and complete required assessments
- Assist customers in finding merchandise
- Merchandise the store according to MBP principles
- Process payments and purchases using the POS system
- Open new customer accounts
- Help prevent and control stock losses
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ensure customer safety and store security
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10
- A genuine passion for fashion and retail
- Willingness to learn and grow within a retail environment
