Main Responsibilities
Customer Service & Digital Banking Support
- Assist customers in branch
- Help clients use online and mobile banking
- Resolve login and digital banking issues
- Assist with airtime and data purchases
- Provide statements, cards, and banking documents
- Promote digital banking channels
- Identify opportunities to refer customers for additional banking products
Cash Handling & Branch Operations
- Process deposits and withdrawals
- Handle transfers and cash transactions
- Replenish ATM cash
- Support branch device maintenance
- Manage bank cards and branch stock
- Process foreign exchange transactions where applicable
Risk & Compliance
- Follow banking security procedures
- Prevent fraud through proper customer verification
- Maintain accurate transaction records
- Comply with banking regulations and policies
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma (NQF Level 6) – Required
- Higher Certificate in Banking Services (NQF Level 5) – Advantageous
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in:
- Retail banking
- Customer service
- Cash handling
- Digital banking support
- Problem resolution
Foreign exchange experience is an advantage.

This position is not an entry-level matriculation-only role. Nedbank requires:
- A Diploma (NQF 6), and
- 1–2 years of relevant banking/customer-service experience.
