Job Full-time work Description are seeking a seasoned legal assistant to help our firm’s attorneys. You will be in charge of handling office correspondence, which includes responding to calls and emails, planning meetings and travel, and making sure our legal team is informed of impending due dates.

Accountability:lities Attorney-Focused Tasks keeps track of lawyers’ calendars and sends out reminders, making sure that their workdays are organized logically and efficiently and that their calendars are properly maintained and handled.
ensures that the lawyer is aware of all assignments and deadlines for the next five days by reviewing their schedule each morning.
retrieves and delivers voicemails from the assigned lawyer and ensures that copies are added to the firm’s client electronic files.
completes documents that are first typed by attorneys and gets them ready for delivery to courts, clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel, as directed by attorneys.
Notices, motions, petitions, and other pleadings containing case information are prepared in initial drafts and then sent to an attorney for review, editing, and expert legal drafting.
Draft letters and other correspondence to the company’s external stakeholders.
maintains the lawyers’ files in order and ensures that they have everything they need for meetings, court appearances, and outside meetings.
Administrative Tasks makes and updates files for new businesses and clients.oversees every Clio task assigned to them and/or their attorney.
updates the Clio custom fields for all contacts and matters pertaining to their assigned attorneys’ cases.assistance with policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree, or some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is Necessary candidates should be able to type at least 50 words per minute Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround Times at least 1-2 years of previous experience in a law firm setting performing administrative Tasks candidates must have worked with legal software, case management, and docketing Programs about Company
