Qualifications:Grade 11/12 or an equivalent qualificationPSIRA registrationDriver’s license an added advantageFire Arm Competency (business use) and advantageA clear criminal recordDuties & Responsibilities:Protect employees of the customer, visitors, buildings, & Movable AssetsConduct regular patrolling of propertyMonitor surveillance equipmentInspect the plant, buildings & movable equipmentcontrol access points; permitting entrance & egressUse sounding alarms and other related devices to mobilise for assistance when it is essentialReport irregularities inform violators of policy and procedures & restraining trespassersControl traffic by directing driversComplete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signaturesEnsure that the equipment under own use is in a working condition through preventative maintenance.
