We are looking for a general worker to join our team! As a general worker, you’ll be responsible for keeping places clean and fresh, from carpets to upholstery and everything in between.
What you’ll do
This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.
- Perform cleaning duties, making sure everything looks spick and span.
- Use the right cleaning products and equipment to kill germs and make surfaces sparkle.
- Give carpets a good clean, whether they’re wall-to-wall or a fancy Persian rug.
- Clean up upholstery items like sofas, curtains, and mattresses to keep them looking their best.
- Help out with cleaning up after floods or fires, making sure spaces are safe and sanitized.
- Get rid of bad odors with deodorizing techniques to leave spaces smelling fresh.
- Keep tiled areas looking sharp with grout cleaning and floor maintenance.
- Follow safety procedures to keep yourself and others safe while on the job.
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs that need doing.
- Work together with your team to get the job done efficiently.
- Provide friendly and professional service to clients, answering any questions or concerns they might have.
